Layne Hermansen, DO

Dr. Layne Hermansen is a proud Utah native who enjoys caring for every patient he sees. He is a graduate of Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and attended The University of Utah for his undergraduate degree in Biology. He completed a medical internship at North Vista Hospital in Las Vegas and a residency in Family Medicine at Mesa General Hospital in Mesa, Arizona.

Dr. Hermansen is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and affiliated with Jordan Valley Medical Center.

He was honored to be appointed by the governor to serve ten years on the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing Board for Osteopathic Physicians and was elected board chairperson for many of those years. In this capacity he has represented Utah physicians numerous times on a national capacity at Federation of State Medical Boards.

When he is not caring for patients, you can find him spending time with his family and the outdoors.
